On this week of all things chocolate, I give you the BEST dense, chewy, delicious dark chocolate brownies a girl could ask for. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, refined-sugar free, and perfectly sweet with a hint of sea salt. You couldn't dream these bad boys up...
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup coconut sugar
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil, melted and cooled
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 dairy-free mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350, and grease 8x8 baking dish. In a large bowl, stir together almond flour, cacao powder, baking soda, coconut sugar and sea salt. Add in the melted coconut oil, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix together well. Stir in the chocolate chips. The mixture will be very thick, so press it firmly into the 8x8 baking dish. Bake for 25-28 minutes, let cool, and serve!
